It’s the weekend… looking for something to do?

Friday Night Lights at the Mac! A rivalry that started in 1964 and has made the list of USA Today High School Sports “Best Rivalry 2013”. Warner Robins High School Demons vs Northside High School Eagles football game 7:30pm at the Mac. This series has many memorable moments and shocking finishes making it a game you will not want to miss. Whether you bleed orange or red, you will be brought to your feet!

Clowns, red hats, tiny cars, a great cause, family fun and much more… The Shriners are here! Saturday at 10am the Shriners will have a parade down Watson Boulevard starting at the Watson Central Shopping Center and ending at the Houston County Galleria. You never know what to expect when the Shriners come together, but you can always count of having a great time! Come and get your seats early traffic will be completely blocked on Watson Boulevard from Big Lots to the Galleria Mall at Margie Drive from 10am to noon.

Skating anyone? Rigby’s Entertainment Complex will be offering skate lessons by Coach Jackie. If you are a beginner, like myself, lessons start at 10am. For those who would classify their selves as intermediate skaters lessons are at 10:30. Lace up your skates and hit the rink at Rigby’s Entertainment Complex, 2001 Karl Drive, Warner Robins.

A great way to come out and spend your Saturday- August 20th “Be The Church” outreach, hosted by The Assembly @ Warner Robins will be taking place at multiple locations along highway 41 from 10am-2pm. There will be a backpack distribution, grocery distribution, free water, free bibles, free haircuts, free vision screenings, free snow cones, and inflatables for kids all set up at Eagle Springs Elementary School. At the Chevron Hop In from 11-12:30 there will be a gas buy down that will take twenty-five cents off per gallon. Next door to the Chevron at the 24/7 Coin Laundry there will be free laundry tokens provided as well as laundry assistance. Lastly, at the Tractor Supply at the corner of Watson and US-41 from 10-1 there will be a free carwash with air fresheners provided.

In the mood to dance? Dress to impress and head out to Aqua Lounge for Latin Night. Salsa to sounds by DJ Kike, 8:30pm-2am. Tropical Night must be 21+. End you night with Sofrito Fusion Food Truck “where the South meets South America”

Sunday, August 21 at 6PM The Assembly @ Warner Robins is hosting a family movie night in their Student Building. They will be playing “Miracles from Heaven” and providing free popcorn and drinks. All are welcome!
